Winter Soccer Program

The Lake Simcoe Soccer Club will be running the Winter Soccer Program for a second season. The program is designed to improve the skills and techniques of all players in a fun and supportive environment and is designed for all players regardless of skill level or ability.

The Winter Program will run two separate sessions: October – December and January – March. 

There are one skills night and one game night scheduled per session. The skills nights is Monday at Our Lady of the Lake in Keswick. Game night will be Friday at Black River PS in Sutton.

Monday will be focused on developing skills and techniques while maximizing the number of touches the player has on the ball.  Emphasis will be placed on having players of like skill together. 

Friday game nights consist of pickup style games. The teams will be created from those in attendance with emphasis on placing players of like skill together.  Team makeup will change from week to week and possibly game to game.

Each night is a separate program. Game night is optional. You do not have to be registered for a skills night to register for game night.

Anyone 13+ wishing to register for a game night should register for the 8-9pm slot.

Please note that although locations are subject to change due to availability of gyms, every effort will be made to maintain one session in Keswick and one in Sutton.

Fee Information

SKILLS: The cost is $100 for the 10 week session.

GAMES: The cost is $40 for the 8 week session.

Registration Information

Registration is now being taken.  Spots are limited to 36 per program.

Each session must be registered for separately.

Register in person at the clubhouse.

Other Information (Reformat)

Equipment Requirements:

• Non-marking running shoes (indoor soccer shoes preferred but not required),

• shin pads

• soccer socks (any colour).

• shorts and shirt (last year’s soccer uniform will work great).
  
  

No food will be allowed in the gyms and only water in a closable container.

Parents are expected to stay at the facility and are welcome and encouraged to assist with the drills.
